1) How do the east coasters prepare for the hurricane?
Make sure you have plenty of bottled water (the big jugs are best), canned food or stuff that won't spoil if the power goes out (and doesn't need to be heated), flashlights and batteries, duct tape (to tape the windows if it gets rough so they don't shatter), a small med kit/emergency pack, and bring in everything outside that could blow around.

2) What is your guilty pleasure food?
Mashed potatoes covered in cheese, and ice cream.

3) Would you rather.... have pimples or bad teeth?
Neither! Ugh! Um, if I HAD to choose, bad teeth because you could get 'em fixed. If you can't fix 'em, then pimples.

4) Why is Kat's wedding the cutest wedding ever?
It was so bright and friendly and full of love - from the sunshiney yellow to the 'congrats' flags. But I gotta say, everyone on here seems to have a fun touch to their wedding - I loved Acro's shoes! And NQB's adirondac chairs (but I want a reeeeal one)!

5) Whatcha doing this weekend?
Going to yoga on Saturday morning - draggin the BF along, which should be funny as he's totally athletic but completely inflexible. I want to see him fall on his face during the tree pose! Then we're helping a friend move in the afternoon. On Sunday, we're having a lazy day with breakfast in bed, then heading down to Key Largo to go snorkeling and on a sunset cruise on a catamaran! Monday is just a beach day! Wooo hooo!

1) How do the east coasters prepare for the hurricane?

Well, normally I would bring everything inside, take the AC out of the window, close the windows, get lots of canned goods, fill up the BBQ tank and get some H2O. However, I will be leaving town Friday and it's not due to hit here til Saturday so this time...I'm running away;)

2) What is your guilty pleasure food?
Nachos!! With mild salsa, sour cream and lots of cheese and TONS of veggies (pineapple too please!)

3) Would you rather.... have pimples or bad teeth?
Pimples. You can cover them up. And I'm used to them. I have a colony of 4 growing on my chin...damnthings...

4) Why is Kat's wedding the cutest wedding ever?
Because Kat is the cutest person ever;)

5) Whatcha doing this weekend?

Going to Lunenburg, Mass.

Lately, it has been pistachio gelato with fresh raspberries for dessert.

Because Kat is the cutest thing EVER.

Hopefully having a baby! Or at least, that is what will be happening if he knows what is good for him.

No clue but it sounds like they buy a lot of non perishables and water.

2) What is your guilty pleasure food?
Sweets, anything sugary.

3) Would you rather.... have pimples or bad teeth?
Hmmmm, well right now I have pimples on my nose (stupid stress) and when I went to the dentist yesterday I found out I have 7 cavities. Yes, 7. So both sound bad right now...

4) Why is Kat's wedding the cutest wedding ever?
Because she is super cute!

5) Whatcha doing this weekend?
BBQ with friends Saturday. Rochester Sunday for my friend's graduation party. She just finished her second masters and her FI just finished law school so his family is throwing a party for them.

Just hoping we don't get hit as we have outdoor plans! Looks like there may be some rain on Friday but the rest of the weekend looks clear.

2) What is your guilty pleasure food?
Corn bread, yum.

Pimples are easier to get rid of!

Because of all the bright colors, so pretty.

We're going to a three day music festival. Camping, friends, music, fun. And we have backstage passes, woo hoo!

Hmmm, not sure. I live too far inland to be affect. I think the last hurricane to really affect where I grew up was Hurricane Hazel...no relation.

2) What is your guilty pleasure food?

Homemade macaroni and cheese.

3) Would you rather.... have pimples or bad teeth?

If I couldn't fix it, probably pimples. if I was allowed to fix it then bab teeth.

4) Why is Kat's wedding the cutest wedding ever?

Cause Kat is so darn cute!

5) Whatcha doing this weekend?

Nothing, meaning not going out of my area code and no one is coming over, and I'm really excited about it. Although there is a chance of it turning into a cooking extravaganza. I made roasted butternut squash soup last night - really yummy! Plus, I really need to do something with all the broccoli and watermelon that I have. If weather co-operates, possibly starting to paint the porch or atleast doing the prep work for it.

Going to the beach! Unpacking, Buying Artwork for the house with DH and relaxing!

Pimples- They're much cheaper to get rid of and can easily be covered

Because she drives a beetle and people who drive beetles are automatically the cutest thing ever.

2) What is your guilty pleasure food? Hershey's Kisses with Almonds. I can eat an entire bag of them by myself in a day.

3) Would you rather.... have pimples or bad teeth? Pimples. Much less expensive to fix.

Make sure everything is put away that can be put away and play board/card games? Never experienced a hurricane; just tornadoes.

Homemade cookies ~ they never last long.

Well, I've had the bad teeth and have had them fixed so at this point I would go with pimples.

Because she is so creative.

5) Whatcha doing this weekend?
Still working on plans. We'll be going hiking/camping just unsure where and who will be joining. It's my last weekend before my trip so BF wants to spend as much time as we can together. Planning for a turkey dinner on Sunday as I will be in Italy for Thanksgiving this year.

They buy lots of food, water, ice etc.

2) What is your guilty pleasure food?
I like savory things like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes etc, but I also love a good pie (pecan, apple, pumpkin)... ugh now I want pie damnit!

3) Would you rather.... have pimples or bad teeth?
Pimples I suppose, I deal with them already and having bad teeth would really upset me.

Because she's the DIY queen!

5) Whatcha doing this weekend?
Going up to Columbus tomorrow until Sunday for friends of ours wedding. After the rehearsal dinner tomorrow FI is taking me out around OSU's campus (his alma mater). Sunday we are coming home and relaxing. Monday we are working ongetting the house put back together finally!

No clue, but I'm so thankful that FI has no desire to ever move back to his hometown of Tampa, FL.

Brownies and cheesecake

Definitely pimples...I have such bad TMJ that whenever I go to the dentist, I'm in pain for a week

To give inspiration to those of us planning after her

My brother and my 5 year old nephew will be arriving on Saturday for a 2 week stay! I'm so excited - haven't seen them since Thanksgiving last year. Also excited cause I'll get to see FI for a whole 45 minutes this weekend - woohoo (his graveyard schedule really sucks sometimes)

5) Whatcha doing this weekend? Going home for an entire weekend!!!! (which as an agent is unheard of, I literally never get more than a day off). Matt and I are from the same small town and we're going home to visit both of our families and are so excited

Um, thoroughly? West coaster here. We just have earthquakes.

2) What is your guilty pleasure food?
Nachos or milk chocolate oatmeal raisin cookies (they must be my mom's recipe).

Pimples. I'm still getting rid of 'em, but it's better than bad teeth.

4) Why is Kat's wedding the cutest wedding ever?
Because Kat is sunshine and rainbows. (I saw a yellow car with polka dots the other day and immediately thought of her!)

5) Whatcha doing this weekend?
Sleeping in. Changing the oil in my car. Maybe barbecuing. Enjoying three glorious days of no work.
