Trial runs (so expensive!)

I just called About Faces regarding their trial run prices, and it's $140 for hair and make-up. I really am not happy about paying so much for a trial run. Does anyone know any stylists who don't charge as much or nothing at all that still do a great job? TIA. :)

    Meghann Davis! She is WONDERFUL!....the trial run is half the cost of whatever your wedding services are.  So my trial run was $87.50.  If you do decide at that point to go with her she requires half the cost of your wedding services for at deposit at that time, as well.  That then will put you up over $140.  However the day of my wedding I will only owe her $87.50.  I really liked this idea, as I would rather pay a little more now and less later since I know there are going to be so many other cost (planned and unforseen) come the wedding weekend.  Good luck to you!

    I'm using Meghann also! I have to say I don't know what kind of magical fairy dust she put on my eyelids but my shadow lasted ALL day after my trial. I couldn't even rub it off at the end of the night. I can never get my shadow to stay so that alone is worth her weight in gold. :-)

    Try Makeover Maven.  I was really impressed with her.  She did two separate trial runs for me.  The first I paid for (not what About Faces was charging).  I only had a limited amount of time for the first trial run as I lived out of town and had to get back.  She came back the day before my wedding to do the second trial run to make sure I was happy.  www.makeover-maven.com. The best part is that she will come to you without charging for travel if you are in the Orlando area.
