I need help deciding....

a theme for my bridal shower. I love the "Old Hollywood Glam" theme. I can do a lot with it. I can have the invites look like movie tickets, I can have a red carpet made of wrapping paper or something.

The other one that would be a hit is a 60's theme, cause I know my mom, aunts, and other older generation people will dress up because they most likely still have something in their closet from then... but I really don't wanna wear a fro.

I like the 80's theme, it sounds like a lot of fun. But what kind of invites and stuff would I use?

I know that I am being really indecisive, but Help please!

For the 80's theme, you could: make the invitations in neon colors, have tv show music (Saved by the Bell, Alf, etc) and encourage everyone to wear their slouch socks and scrunchies!

I'm all for the old hollywood glam.... theres a website that has some of the cutest vintage pin-up girl type clothing. Pair that with some old glam hair, and you'd be unstoppable!

Man, I was hoping for the 80s theme, 'cause I can see y'all playing old school music and doing the cabbage patch and the roger rabbit. LOL. Everyone could dress up like Madonna or Cindy Lauper. LOL. But no seriously the Hollywood Glam theme sounds so cool. That's cool that you have so much input in your shower. My mom and aunt were like, you just want to control everything and you are not controlling this. We are running this shower. LOL

oh and I have been wanting an 80s party FOEVER!!! I want to wear some stone washed jeans, some nerd glasses, some Adidas, and an AC DC shirt. With big frizzy hair. How fun would that be!!

I think that people will play along best with the 60s theme though. Sigh
