If you mean NYC Manhattan, i doubt you'll get anywhere close to $65 on a weekend.
If you mean the outer boroughs, you can probbly find something easily in Brooklyn and Queens.  Were you married (pardon the pun) to NYC?

Try Tosca Marquee in Throggs Neck, Bronx, NY. If you are open to Fridays or Sundays you might be able to negotiate prices a bit. You should also try the Royal Regency Hotel in Yonkers or a few restaurants in City Island.

I LOOOVE the A.B. My sister's wedding reception was there & we had my nephews shower there also..I went by the office 2wks ago they didn't have the date I wanted..I'm soooo stuck on my date & very determined to have it on 9.10.11. If push comes to shove I will have to pick another date in October & have it @ A.B. Did you book the ballroom on the top floor? Its so pretty!

Sweetie, there's no way you can come close to that price in Manhattan. How about CT or even the Hudson Valley? Here's an idea, just in case you'd consider a country affair, the DIY aspect will save you bunches of cash:

If you're willing to look into venues in the Bronx, Frankie & Jonnie's Pine Restaurant (1913 Bronxdale Ave. Bronx, NY)  is affordable, the food is delish, and the service is good.  My cousin was married there last spring. They have a nice courtyard so you can be married outside if you want and a very nice, spacious ballroom. Check them out.

I saw some other posts telling you about Tosca's in the Bronx and City Island venues. Check out all your options. I'm sure you'll be able to find something within your budget.

Brunos on the Boulevard....I just went to a food tasting and it was really delicious.  They range between $45 and $70 per person, with coctail hour and sit down dinner.  check em out, their website is www.caterit.com. Also if you are looking for an affordable cake, let me know!  I am also an owner of a small custom cake company (cakesbymanalnyc.com) Sealed
