I need help finding the dress I want to get married in

The dress that I would love to have is as follows. The designs name is Sakura. It has silver embellishments on it to look like branches, and little tufts of fabric to look like cherry blossoms. It's made by designer Matthew Christopher, and apparently has been a style for a few years now. Basically I'm hoping to find it at a better range than $2000-$3000. I've been searching for it for about 2-3 months now & almost feel ready to pull my hair out. I'm planning to have an Asian type theme, so it's really important to me. Any input or advice is very much appreciated. Thanks. Smile

  • Ditto Edie.  Also, have you tried finding a salon that carries the style and asked whether they can sell the sample to you?  Since it's an older style your chances at this are pretty good.

  • Are you just looking for this one particular dress, or have you looked into trying to find something by another (less expensive) designer with similar elements?  Could you find a dress at a better price with some silver branch like embellishments and have a seamstress or crafty friend/relative add cherry blossoms?
Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
  • Not sure if this is a knock-off site, but here's something...

    use at your own risk.
  • I should clarify... seems clear that it must be a knock-off site as the price is really low. But I think that some others here have purchased dresses and just had alterations done here.
