Pastimes Cafe - Frederick MD

Hey, we are looking into venues that aren't budget breakers, and near Libertytown.  One that we stumbled upon is Pastimes Cafe- in the Hampton Inn, off Buckystown Pike.   Has anyone looked into this place? Or even better, been to an event here?   They have an all inclusive package that is one of those deals that seems to good to be true.  Food, Photography, Flowers, Cake, and Decor are all included for under 9k for up to 125 people.   My bigest hangup is that the room seems REALLY dated. As do all the pictures I have seen of their events. The decor includes balloon arches, and such.   Anyone been here? Any thoughts?

    Have you actually visited the place, or you're just going by pictures online?  I've been there once before - not for an event, but for happy hour, and I was far from impressed. It is very outdated and kinda dark and dingy in there.  If you're seriously considering it, your best bet would be to check it out first hand.

    I'm not sure what you're looking at budget wise, but we're getting married at Morningside Inn right out near Libertytown.  It's gorgeous, and not ridiculously expensive for off days (Fridays or Sundays).

    LOL it's funny you say that,  

    We were there and I wasn't impressed at all, but FI thought it was too good of a deal to just throw out.  But since then we have visited Morningside and have decided to go there.
