Citizen Hotel

Does anyone know anybody who got married at the Citizen Hotel? Its in Downtown Sacramento. Hotel got great reviews, just wondering about wedding service. Any advise appreciated.

    I know someone who is getting married there in September, and so far so good. We really wanted to go there but couldn't due to costs - the rooftop terrace is awesome!!

    we decided not to go with them either. THey had a 10,000 food and beverage minimum. CRazy expensive

    As you saw from the bio that Anglyn posted, we had ours there. According to the pp, the rates must have gone up, because I know that ours wasn't that high. That being said, we booked while it was still under construction and didn't have any idea what the space would look like finished (the tent wasn't even up at that point). So, maybe we got a better rate than what it is going for now. I would see if they would come down on their minimums possibly?

    It is a gorgeous venue and the people are easy to deal with. I can't say enough good things about the Citizen (other than it got really hot in the tent...a 105 degree date will do that though.)
