Engagedbythefalls11 was super successful in her planning extravaganza. Did anyone else accomplish anything WR this weekend?

FI and I were able to finalize his tux and get him measured - deposit paid - done!
We also found our wedding bands. We're going to buy them after xmas.

I received my aisle runner friday and am working on designs today to paint it.

I am also going to the venue today to do a mockup of the tablescape and see if anything is missing.

And lastly, we started agressively planning the honeymoon!

Half of my BMs ordered their dresses! They went on sale at David's Bridal for half off and were selling out of sizes, so I had them go ahead and order. Half off isn't bad at all.

My mom decided she was going to put burlap bows on all of the chairs. I'm okay with this. I think it'll look cute.

We decided on bags for the cookie bar favors.

And this was last week, but I'm still excited, I booked a different photographer for boudoir pictures in January. I'm a little nervous but really excited.

Congrats on all your checks! Especially the wedding band one! My ring came as a set, so we have the band, and we're getting his band from the same place. Since they do 6 month inspections and cleanings we're getting his band in December so they'll be on the same schedule and only one of us has to go take them if we're busy.

We did a mock up of our centerpieces and decided on what exactly we want. I finished the wire name hangers for the bridal party and we've almost completed one bead bouquets.

Not really .... I got my std on Thursday after work but since I was getting ready head to Fi for long weekend I haven't sent them out. I plan on handing them out to some people this week an mailing them latest next week. We did decide were adding a wishing box. We plan on having next to our guest table sand dollars and allowing our guests to write well wishes on them place them in a box that we won't open for 5 yrs. Otherwise that's all we have lol

Yes! I finalized the BM dress (all 6 girls tried it on and it looks great on everyone). I also ordered STDs. My sister designed the STD for us and I ordered them using my Vistaprint groupon. I could not believe how cheap it was since I uploaded my own design instead using a template. I was shell shocked on the total price!! Well under budget. We also finished up the guest list (well, 99% done) and are booking the HM this week. Feels good to have some more checks...I had kindof been in a slump and was feeling behind on things.

We found a cake person who is willing to indulge my FI in his cake fantasies of having us on the cake fighting off a dragon. (it's a little out there, but I told him the cake design is all him) The baker was super excited about it, and we got to taste a bunch of different cakes. I never would have thought that lemon cake with raspberry mousse would be so good, but it was awesome, and that's going to be our main cake flavor. We are getting 3 other flavors for sheet cakes. And, she gave us a 10% off coupon, and is making me a black forest cake sample, because I mentioned that was one of my favorites.

We also started to discuss honeymoon plans. I think I'm going to talk to a travel agent this week. I have a few ideas, but am not real sure where to start on looking for deals, so i figure I might as well have a professional do some checking for me.

Nope...nothing wedding or non wedding related lol! It was a very lazy weekend for me. But speaking of rings, we chose ours which were totally different from what we were going to originally get. We decided to get ours in Feb ( maybe around V-day, hopefully they'll have some deals!). Found out I need to have mine custom ordered since I'm a half size and they only come in whole sizes

I finished our invite and inserts wording and design. I have been emailing back and forth with the florist, coming up with ideas for centerpieces and the bouquets.

Not totally wedding related but our photographer is going to squeeze in a mini family photo session for DF, myself and our little boy (my future stepson). I'm super excited about that!

We finally came to an agreement with FMIL, we are going to do the cheaper buffet with a 4 hour beer andwine open bar package. I feel so much better about the whole thing and I am now finally a little more excited. She has made it very difficult.

We also decided that we are going to look into getting a mortgage, so big things happening there as well

I also worked on pomander balls this weekend, got one done. It was a lot more work then what I was expecting it to be, what do you think?
