Oakland Officiant

We plan to get married in Oakland county next winter anyone familiar with the officiant laws in the state/county? We want to ask my aunt to preform the ceremony, thinking that she could be ordained online. She works in local government in PA, if that might have any impact.

If that won't work out, does anyone know of officiants that would do well for an offbeat ceremony?

    I'm using Kirk Haas from A Secular Ceremony. He's just a very laid back, nice guy. When my FI and I met with him, he basically told us that he'll do anything that we'd like except perform the ceremony naked or smoke pot. Haha!

    My SIL (from Illinois) got ordained online to officiate our ceremony in Oakland County. There's a precedent for it so there should be no problems with you doing something similar. Best of luck!
