So after a wonderful day at Sea World and an amazing dinner at Top of the Market in San Diego, we decided to walk a path along the water and take some pictures. It was really nice because there wasn't really anyone around and we ended up being the only two people on the path we took. When we reached these cool trees next to where the sailor kissing his lady statue used to be, I commented on how much I liked them and my then boyfriend, Kyle, stopped us. He hugged me, told me the past 6 years had been absolutely amazing, and that he loved me so much. He then stepped back, knelt down, opened up the ring box that he somehow had hidden and asked me to marry him.
I cried, said Yes! and then hugged him like crazy!!! He finally put the ring on my finger and I couldn't stop smiling. He even special ordered a ring box with a light in the lid so I would be able to see the ring in the dark!! Everything about the day and the proposal was perfect and I could not be happier to start planning the rest of our lives together!
