LJ Productions vs. Elite Sound Entertainment

Hello Everyone!

I am new to the boards and wondering if anyone has any experience or an opinion on LJ Productions in Belleville or Elite Sound Entertainment in Saddle Brook.  I am torn between which one to book for my 10/30/11 wedding.  Please note we're only booking a basic package and the price difference between the two is not significant.  Any advice or opinions you can offer would be greatly appreciated!  TIA Smile

    We booked Elite Sound Entertainment.. but besides our initial meeting with them, we haven't had too much contact.  I don't think we meet with them until a week before our wedding (which is beginning of Nov).  So far so good though!  We also only got the basic package, but got them to through in the basic lighting for free so we'll have some lighting.

    I booked Elite Sound too. My wedding isnt until 6/11/11 but anytime I have a question, they answer it right away and have been very helpful.

    I'm using Elite Sound for my wedding next weekend. Once you book them, there's really no need to keep in contact with them until closer to the wedding. I'm meeting with them next week for the final details and I've been in contact with them regarding paying the final deposit. I've heard nothing but good things about Elite Sound and they get excellent reviews on the wedding review sites. I can give you a real review next weekend! :)

    Hi - I used Elite Sound 7/25/08 and LOVED them...everyone at my wedding said one of the best DJs they have heard at a wedding.  I gave them a lot of input to playlist and they were open to it.  I had Mike (there are two at the time) and John B as my DJ.  Loved them both.  We used them twice after for smaller parties.

    I am not personally using LJ Productions but i know a ton of people that have used him that we went to high school with and have nothing but good things to say about him.

    After researching we went with Elite Sound and could have not been happier with our decision. They kept the dance floor packed all night and knew exactly what music to play to keep our guests dancing. They are great to work with and I would use them again for another occasion in a heartbeat.

    For those of you who used elite sound, did you use them for lighting too? What did you think of the lighting? Were you happy with it?
