We are meeting with Kelli's Cake Creations tomorrow! I am very excited. I am sure it is going to go great because of how many people from here LOVE her....I just hope she can be in our price range.

    If it helps you feel any better, our cake budget is small-ish and she was totally reasonable for us. Of course, we aren't doing anything fancy-schmancy. But her cakes are soooooo tasty!

    Yah, we like the price! I think it is right around what I was expecting to pay...delivery is a lot though! I need to make some referrals....Any knotties need a cake baker? Lol.  But our location is like 60 miles from her kitchen so it's reasonable, but still a lot. And it helps that she gives a knottie discount!!!!! We actually talked about you....well mostly she just said that you are using her. :)

    Oh and yes, the cake is delicous! My favorite fillings that we tried were cream cheese and the lemon curd. Yummy!!!

    How did your meeting with Kelli go? We are meeting with her on the 17th. Do have any suggestions what we can do to prepare for our meeting.

    Our meeting with Kelli went really well.

    To prepare:
    --I suggest bringing photos of what you like...I brought about 8 different photos and I brought color splotches of our colors. We haven't really nailed down an idea though, so that's why I had so many, they were all just kind of a bunch of ideas we liked.
    --Make sure you tell her that you are a Knottie. She gives a 10% discount to Knotties.....and if you  are in a giving mood you could tell her that I referred you. I can pm you my full name. When you refer someone and they book, she gives you half off your delivery. If you refer two people, your delivery is free.  I am sure the favor will probably be returned to you at some point. :)
    --If you want to book at the meeting, she requires a $100 deposit.
    --She also brings like three portfolios of cakes that she has done that you can look through.

    That's all I have really got. She is great and her prices are very competitive! Her cake is delicious. And best of all, She is probably the most recommended cake baker on the Knot and I have found NO bad reviews of her anywhere. Even Yelp has great reviews. Let us know how it goes!
