Wedding Recap - 9-9-11 - Lots of PIPs!

We're MARRIED!! 

I can't believe it.  From start to finish, it was the most amazing day.  The days prior were a bit challenging (the poison ivy episode, botched highlights and manicure), but our Wedding Day went off without a hitch.  At least to us.  The Palace and our planner, Joan Glenn, efficiently managed all of the things that weren't perfect and made them perfect without us knowing (ie, my car had a flat tire in the parking lot, the candles were too tall for the holders, etc.) 

Mike and I truly were guests at our wedding and got to enjoy every moment.  The weather was perfect, food was UNBELIEVABLE, DJ kept the night moving and people danced all night long. 

I'm going to write more and do reviews but wanted to share some pics first...

    You look BEAUTIFUL! I'm so happy for you! I didn't know you were walking alone down the aisle...my dad passed away last year and my 2 brothers are walking me down in his place - I also know that will be much harder than I can imagine at this moment.

    Can't wait to hear all of the details!! Congrats again!!

    Thanks everyone!

    Buttrflyah- the dresses are Bill Levkoff and the necklaces are from Kohls.  Definitely check out Kohls - they have great stuff that is reasonably priced.

    Hobo18 - our DJ was Paul Anthony Entertainment and he was amazing.  He took exactly what we wanted and created it.  We wanted to party from start to finish and he made it happen. 

    Kristen- I was on a business trip two weeks ago and sat in my hotel room one night, looking through 1400 cake pics from theknot and Style Me Pretty!  I took our favorite 3 and sent them to the Palace, and they recreated it perfectly. 

    Ashlie- I have sooo much to tell you.  You have absolutely nothing to worry about, and I think you should serve the cake in the boxes.

    We used Be Creative Photography. They are based in Wykoff. Eric and his second shooter were amazing- Eric actually managed us in the bridal suite for a while, leading us through the order of photos, and even giving us tips on stuff (ie: I wanted to stitch my dad's St Christopher medal inside my dress and he had a bunch of suggestions for how to do it). He kept us on schedule too and managed our very excited families.

    Congrats- u look amazing! And I am so glad everything was perfect! I also found my BM necklaces at Kohls - after looking for months in other stores- they have a huge selection and great prices :)
