Friend told me that this went down at her DD's soccer game this weekend.
Kid on one team was playing a bit aggressive
Kid pushes kid from the other team hard.
Pushed kid gets mad and pushes her back.
Pushed kid's mom runs on the field.
Other kid's mom runs on the field.
Coaches try to get crazy moms off of field.
Crazy mom #1 says, "You don't want none of this."
Crazy mom #2 says, " And neither does your husband."
Yes, this all went down in front of the kids. 8 year old girls. Sad. I admit to laughing at the husband line.
Re: I wonder where kids learn it from.
But I only laugh because my kid wasn't in this game. This is really sad.
I just a friendly gal looking for options.
Thankfully, they left the field and the game went on. The coaches were mad because the moms didn't give them time to handle the situation, but ran on the field and acted like an ass in front of the kids.
My friend said they she talked with her daughter about it and sportsmanship, yada yada, and how the moms were wrong to do that.
The kid should have been put out of the game for playing too aggressive and pushing.
