I am so thankful for my MOH (my sister) and my mother! They have been an amazing help through this whole process. Though my parents were in no way able to provide and help financially for the wedding, my mom is still so involved and always coming up with great ideas.
We are getting married in October in a beautiful skylight room and I originally wanted to do lanterns with candles in them for centerpieces but it was going to be really expensive to put together etc. Instead we planned to go with centerpieces from our florist with 3 different height pillar cylindars with water and floating candles. This was going to cost around $85-100 per table. And we are guestimating around 20 tables.... Thats A LOT of money.
Well, yesterday my mom called me and told me that Lowes (the home improvement store) is selling beautiful lanterns for only $8 each. I googled candles wholesale and I can get more than enough for only $20. This means that I can do all 20 tables for $200 or so. We will be saving around $600-800 AND I get the centerpieces that I really wanted from the start!!
I'm so thankful for the financial blessing and for my mom for always thinking of me!
