Fun/Classy dinner only reception venue at the Wynn

I'm in the planning stages of my wedding and am fast and furiously trying to get info from various restaurants/Casino catering divisions for potential reception options (Caesar's catering, Hard Rock weddings, Maggiano's, Mandarin Oriental-- you name it, I've emailed them), and found a fun place that I can't use for my group, but I thought I'd pass the info along to you all in case anyone is looking for a fun/classy dinner-only reception venue.

I contacted Society Cafe at the Wynn because their food seemed fun and not stuffy, and the decor looks neat.  Unfortunately with a group of my size I think it would be at/over their private dining limit (roughly 70 guests), but feel free to contact them if you're interested!  They were super nice and got back to me very quickly.  It was Jessica Pate and Tania Sanchez who worked with me (jessica.pate@wynnlasvegas.com).  I posted one of their sample menus below.

    We were looking at Society Cafe, but I found their customer service seriously lacking -- ie. never replying to emails, and just sending copy and paste information.

    You have to pay 50% of your meals, drinks & taxes upfront too, which I cannot see the point of. Plus you can't use your own centrepieces or have a cake from an external vendor.

    Due to the complete inflexibility I passed in the end.

    Ooh, good to know, Gribbles, thanks.  I didn't get that far into a booking experience with them so I guess maybe working with them might get trickier the closer you get to nailing things down. :)

    I have been planning to have my wedding dinner at  Society Cafe, and they have been extremely helpful with the planning. I was not asked to put 50% down, and they have the ability to create wedding cakes on site. They do not have a private dining room, but offered to section off an area in the upstairs section of the restaurant. If your group has 20+ ppl, you are required to order off of the group dining menu, but if not, your group can order whatever they like!  So far, I have not had any problems, and have had quick responses to all of my questions. The reviews online are great, and I can't wait to see it in person!
