Thank you!! I'm always really hesitant about posting on new boards because I always feel like I'm intruding...you're all so welcoming

About me...hm

I'm Katie, my FI is Mike...we're both 22. We went to high school together and were best friends. We kept in contact in college we started dating at hte end of our junior years, got engaged a year after that (this past April) and now we're planning our wedding for January 2012!

I graduated this past December with a communication degree...I'm currently working as a research writer but am hoping to find a job in public relations or event planning in a non-profit. M graduated in May and is an engineer with Milwaukee Electric Tool -- he designs power tools all day, so he's fairly happy

Our families are both huuuuge so our wedding will be, too. We're excited to say our vows in front of all our family and friends and then celebrate the night away!! I'm also excited to start posting on here

Hi! I think I've introduced myself on some other boards, but not on here. My FI and I got engaged in July, after 7 months of dating. We met at work--both lifeguards at a private club. I'm 25 and he's 22, so he takes great delight in calling me a cougar, though he was definitely the one who started pursuing me--asking his supervisor (a friend of mine) about me before I even started working there!

I've just started a Masters in Physical Education, and he is in his fourth and final year of a Bachelor of Business, with a major in Accounting. I picked up second (better-paying) lifeguarding job recently, which, when combined with swim coaching and a graduate research/teaching assistantship, is making me feel a little overwhelmed. Wedding planning is much more appealing than writing this literature review and transcribing interviews! Everything I've got so far is on my planning bio (linked below).

Thanks for being so kind and welcoming, but kick me off if I start spending too much time on here! Way too much real life stuff to be doing... :P

Hey Knotties I'm Joy my FI's name is Ben we got engaged in March after dating 1 1/2yrs. But FI has been a friend of my family for 10yrs. I have an 8 yr old daughter India from a previous relationship. I'm a makeup artist and he works for verizon.

Were getting married On Jan 21 and where both extremly excited. Only 94 days to go!!!

It's a pleasure meeting all of you and I look forward to getting to know you knotties better. Thanks for the warm welcome.
