    The only thing I've really done is bought a better face moisturizer. I plan on getting something to treat keratosis pilaris when it gets closer. Anyone else have this? Looking for something that actually works!

  • I've started trying to work out more.  That's more for the long-term than just the wedding though.  And drinking more water and less soda.

  • I am already working on slimming down, and my skin is fine. I do need to pick up some psorisas cream to tone down the stuff on my arms.
    Way more worried about FI. He is not consistent on his skin, teeth whitening, and hair routines... Will really have to start nagging as the wedding gets closer ;)

  • Not really.  My dress currently fits, so I just need to maintain my weight, maybe drop 5 lbs or so, but not more than that so alterations don't cost me a bundle. 

    I don't currently do any makeup of any kind, and my skin is in pretty good shape (at least that's what I'm told), so just maintaining the status quo.

    I am debating getting my hair trimmed soon, so it has time to grow again before the wedding. I hate having long hair becuase it's really curly and can get frizzy, but I want to be able to do something with it for the wedding.
  • Krikin - I have KP as well, so I've been using the DermaDoctor KP Duty line for a couple of weeks and LOVE it. I have it on my upper arms and the backs of my upper thighs, and I have seen a significant decrease in how noticable they are.

    Beyond that, I've been working with my hair stylist to create the "perfect blond" as she calls it, discussing where to get my extensions, and just drinking as much water as possible.

    I'm not doing anything new to my routine. Getting exercise regularly and trying to not skip more than 2 days in a row. Watching portion sizes. I rarely (if ever) drink caffeine and the only pop I keep on hand is 7-up for upset stomach days. I've done pretty well avoiding sweets lately (as in candy, chocolate). I am hypoglycemic and have been learning over the past few months how to eat better and recognize body signals and what may cause me to go a little low. My dad has adult-onset diabetes and wears an insulin pump. I may wind up with diabetes someday so I'm trying to be proactive in that area now.
     
    I've been fortunate to have good skin (never had acne). I plan to maintain my highlights every couple months up through the wedding and currently my hair goes to the bottom of my shoulder blades. Want to keep it somewhat long so they have enough to work with but will still have it trimmed occasionally.

    Awesome, thank you!! I saw that one on amazon, wasn't sure if it really worked. It seemed to have some mixed reviews, so I wasn't sure if it was worth the cost. I mostly have it on my upper arms and it doesn't mix well with my strapless dress! I'm going to try it out :)

  • Not really, other than losing a few more pounds and toning up. And the lady doing my hair suggested I grow it out a little now, which is driving me nuts... it's always up or pinned back because of it. lol

    I'm also hoping FI will get on a skin care routine so he will stop picking at pimples! We will both probably do some kind of teeth whitening when the time gets closer.

  • Cut out all pop and am only drinking water, which is a lot harder then I thought it would be. WW seems to be helping I was down almost a full pound last week and am already down 1 this week, I check occasionally especially after a dinner night out and football this weekend.

     I also have started using Aveeno lotion on my elbows. They are very dry and kind of look dirty all the time (trust me they're not) but the lotion seems to be really helping.
