Head count making me nervous

I called in my head count a few days ago, and now I'm starting to think that maybe I should have added a few extra just incase there are people who RSVP'd no and change their mind.  I called all of my MIA's and got answers.  It's a buffet dinner, so I am thinking that there will be enough food for one or two if it does happen.  What do you guys think, because I don't want to run out of food.

    I think that you are fine. Your caterer will probably have a couple extra portions prepared, and since it is a buffet, you have a little more wiggle room. Just don't forget to include yourself and your FI in your head count. We almost did that for the rehearsal dinner!

    Should we include the whole bridal party including us in the head count too? That bumps it up 6

    Yeah, definitely include the bridal party in the head count.  I'd also see if your caterer offers vendor pricing so if you're planning on feeding your photographer and DJ you can save a few dollars on their meals!  Your caterer should be more than prepared for a few extra meals or big eaters!

    <div>Yes, I would definitely include yourselves and your bridal party in the headcount for food, as you will be eating as well.  You wouldn't want to be six meals short! Like the other Libby said, also double check about feeding vendors.</div>

    Our vendor automatically add 5% into our guest count for people that show up unexpectedly which is good because we are doing a plated dinner so I will need to have that wiggle room.

    Im so glad I found this out!  I hadn't added us to the head count nor the DJ or photographer! YIKES!! Thanks ladies!   :)
