PROCESSIONAL ADVISE

I know that typically the bridesmaids and the bride walk down the aisle to 2 separate songs...however, I only have 4 BMs and the aisle that we will be walking down is VERY short (i walked it today at a moderate pace and it took 20 seconds to get to the alter-that's barely a minute and a half total.

I want to walk down the aisle to "Sea of Love" by Cat Powers. Is it silly for us all to walk to it?

    Canon In D...it is very traditional, but an excellent song for both bridal party AND bride.

    Yes you're right, it is a great song for that. very beautiful too..however not what we are going for. We've picked the song..just wondering if only playing only one song is strange. thanks for your feedback!

    I'm only using one song I have a small wedding party and instead of having the first and second song fade out so quickly id rather just use one song. I am using the song Feels like Home, I wanted something unique i'm not a traditonal bride!

    Yep, it's definitely fine to have everyone walk to the same song.

    I have the same issue - short aisle, reasonably long song (Jesy Joy of Man's Desiring) so everyone (BMs, GMs, flower girls, me) is walking to the same song.

    I dont think its silly at all...in fact i want to walk to the same song! Im just still trying to convince the fiance that we dont have to walk to the same music everybody else uses.

    No you sure don't. We're walking to "Sea of Love" by Cat Powers. Very non-traditional...but i love it. and it has more meaning to me than "canon in D." goodluck with the convincing.

    What song did you pick? I also have a short aisle (about 50 feet) and only a bridesmaid and the flower girl walking in before me.
