We are headed out on the road today to go to an orchard a couple hours away, they are having a 'Cherry Festival'.  Its an event they host every year during their harvest season for cherries and invite the public to come out and pick them while they last.  They have a bunch of other activities and a store where they sell all kinds of fruits and goodies so we plan to stock up on some of our favorites.  Also going to do some wine tasting while we are down that way, see if we can find a good wine to serve at our wedding that is made close to home.

    Sounds like so much fun! My FI is working this morning till noon so I'm cleaning up this house that wasn't thouched all week. And it rained for the past few days here but looks nice so hopefully we will figure out something to do outside later today. If I can talk him into it, we might go scope out the park we have engagement pics at in a week from monday. :)

    I'm just being lazy right now, but I'm about to get ready to go to my moms house to finally work on some wedding DIY projects.  Before I go, I need to address the rest of our save the dates so I can stick them in the mail on the way out.

    FI is out of town until the 12th and I'm hoping I can keep myself busy to not miss him so much.  This will be the longest we've ever been away from each other and I already feel like crying every time I talk to him on the phone because I just want him here with me.  Ok, enough sappy stuff! lol

    Sounds like fun, enjoy! FI is working today so I am on here then going to clean the house and then get in the pool with the pups. :)

    I'm working 7-3pm today and tomorrow. Going to a birthday party tonight. Hopefully FI is at home cleaning right now, but I doubt that.

    That cherry festival sounds like fun. I am just sitting on the couch watching tv. We had some friends over last night for drinks and games. It was an interesting night. I want to do some work on the invites today but that is all I have planned.

    Had an awesome day in Nebraska City, NE at the Orchard. We brought home 11 pounds of bing cherries that we picked ourselves.  They are delicious!  Also purchased some other goodies like homemade Apple Cinnamon Syrup.  We didn't get around to the wine tasting today, darnit, but I found an amazing lodge I want to go back and stay for a weekend.  This was actually my top pick to get married at, but it was well beyond our budget and our date was taken at the time we looked into it.  My birthday is next month so maybe my hunny will surprise me with a weekend getaway there.  Time to sit back and relax, maybe enjoy a movie.  Have a great night!
