The Chelsea - booked for 10/22!

Very happy to have booked The Chelsea in AC for my reception venue! We looked at th Smithville Inn, Dolce Seaview Marriott, and One Atlantic. The Chelsea had so many options, and the wedding coordinators have been so easy to worth with! 10/22/10 will be here so soon!! :)

    Congrats!  The chelsea is beautiful...I too looked there, but only because my parents got married there when it was a hotel under a different name! lol

    Thank you! We loved it because there were so many options that we could do. We initially wanted to do the 5th floor with a cocktail reception, but logistically it wouldn't work because the dance area is not in a central spot. We're doing the ballroom instead! The after party on the 5th floor!

    Congrats!  Do you live near AC?  I grew up in Mays Landing, and it seems like most of the brides on this board are from the Gloucester and Camden counties.

    I totally agree about most brides not being from the most southern part of nj!  i'm from eht, so we're kinda neighbors!

    Thanks Ladies! I'm currently living in the Philly area, but went to middle and high school in Galloway. Getting married in the parish that I grew up in! :)

    Thats where I am getting married too in two months! We are turning the living room into the dancefloor and having the reception at Chelsea Prime! It is so beautiful there congrats!

    @Jessica - that's awesome! Congrats! We're doing a cocktail reception in the ballroom, and they're including some of the furniture for that lounge feel. They offered us a reception at Chelsea Prime, but we couldn't do a Sunday. That restaurant LOOKS fabulous! The views of the ocean are incredible! Let me know how it works out!
