I feel like it's all real now!

I sent out our save the dates on Friday...I couldn't believe it took sending them out for me to feel like, " Wow, this is really happening!!"

Anyone else have a moment like this sending out STDs or the like?

My moment on Saturday, was less than a "OMG its real", it was more like, "Oh shiiit, they're sticking to the mailbox!!!" I had to reach in to detach them, I brought them in and the lady behind the counter gave me all sorts of attitude about it and then just put them on a shelf. I hope my guests get them by the end of the week or she'll have some hell to pay.

Going over some the ceremony details with the Pastor last weekend really made it feel more real. So is making the invitations.
I'm used to planning big events so for the most part it seems like I'm just "working" but every now and again I realize that this big event is MY WEDDING! lol

Oh my gosh I hadn't even thought of that! I was planning to go through the line, I will definitely now-our magnets are failry strong.

I don't know why my moment what what it was. I've been doing months of contracts, talking to people, going over details, started planning the ceremony with my officiant. I didn't even cry when I bought my dress.

But, dammit, when we were driving home from our cake consult, I cried like a baby. I have NO idea why it hit me then. It just hit me... I just tasted what our wedding cake will taste like. lol!

Heh, I feel like I've had 5 or 6 magical wedding moments... I might be a bit overly emotional, lol! Most recent was getting our invites and seeing our names on them, seemed so official!

Sending out the STDs is a big turning point lol at that point the only way to cancel or change your plans is if you tell everyone lol

i had like a mini panic attack after I put the std's in the mail box, like OMG that means the guest list is for real.. people are going to know their are invited.. ahhhhhhh, what if i forgot someone...

I get the wedding feeling anytime we visit the venue which i think we have done like 3 times already lol

I feel like it's all real now!
