I'm asking for some help. I would like to change into another dress for my reception after the cake cutting, toasts, dinner, etc. These will take place within the first hour to hour and a half. So, basically for the dancing portion of the reception. My fiance thinks I should wear white since I am the bride. I would like to wear a silver color. The dress is a short dress. Our wedding colors are Canary Yellow and Pewter/Gray. What color do you think would be best for my reception dress?
Thanking you in advance.
Side note: It's too late to order the white dress in time for the wedding because it would have to be custom made. But I can look other places for a white dress if you all think white is the color I should wear. I just really like the dresses listed below so figured silive would be okay.

Re: Dress Change for Reception
[QUOTE]I'm with your FI. I think it should be white. I noticed that your second option comes in white. But really, if you want to wear silver, you should. Don't wear white just because everyone thinks you should.

</div><div>Thanks! I really was stuck on white until they told me i wouldnt get it in time for the wedding (They are saying it wouldn't come in until Sept 26, wedding is Sept 21). I feel like silver is the next best option...since I like those dresses, they are cost effective, and it's more convenient to get it from DB. Idk...I guess I feel like it may be hard to find a white cocktail dress that I like and it's affordable.</div><div>

You didn't see anything on DB that you liked? They have a few different options. I got my white reception dress from there, had it altered a little and it looked great. I agree that DB is probably going to one of the most convient options - they ship quickly.
