Those of you that have had their weddings on the GC, what was the food like? My mom said she remembers hearing that the food wasn't very good (but this was years ago) so I thought that I would ask what the consensus was here. Thanks!

    The food was fantastic. There were a ton of options to choose from and it was hard to narrow it down. We heard a lot of great things from the guests.

    Maybe they are using a different company now than in the past?

    Thats possible. I will pass the info on. We are trying to find somewhere for my sister's reception. Did you like the overall experience too? I'm glad to hear the food is good. :)

    We had a sorority formal there when I was a sophomore (so, 2007?). I remember the food being really good. The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't leave whenever I wanted to.

    I didn't have a wedding there but was there this last winter for my Fi's Xmas party. The food was really good. I would see if they have tastings that you could try but I vote Good on the food

    I am having my reception on the clipper this june.  I went to the food tasting a few months ago and the food was great! I was very impressed because I had heard the same things.  Plus they have lots of different options to choose from and they allow you to mix and match the menus to what you prefer.  About not being to leave when you want to, I was told that the boat can dock as many times as you want it to to let your guests that want to leave get off.   I'm excited and can't wait for June to get here!
