Photographer Vibes

I have a small dilemma. I have interviewed with a few photographers and like them all but have connected with one more than the others. Of course this person has the higher prices as well.

Was wondering if anyone here ever booked with a lower price photographer but didn't connect with them at their first meeting and everything turned out great?
Or would you suggest just booking with the one that you really connected with regardless of price.

    How big is the price difference? 

    With something like photography, I think you'd want to have someone you click with because they'll be at a more intimate level with you on the big day as opposed to say-the DJ, if that makes sense?

    Oh yes sorry I forgot to add that, the biggest difference is $1000, but the lowest is a couple hundred.

    Honestly, if you feel that much more of a connection and you feel like you can swing the extra bucks I would just go with the one you felt most comfortable with. It seems like any doubts and questions you have about a vendor, only intensify as your wedding date approaches. This is the record of your day, why chance it and put yourself through the extra worry?

    I met with Callie V, Jes with Mad Chicken Studios and Spencer Combs, along with some other's that were not my top three.

    Thanks Ladies for the opinions, I think I will spend the extra and not worry about it =)
