NWR: Hair Dye

Hey girls!

Anyone use a great hair dye from the stores that they actually trust? I'm a dark blond wanting to go lighter and thought it may be cheaper to go out of the box. But want to make sure I'm using something that won't kill my hair! Any ideas? :)

    Honestly, don't do it. Box blondes' aren't properly formulated for your exact hair (chances are). So you'll do it, possibly end up with orange roots, that really can only be fixed well by going darker. Which completely then defeats the purpose, and you'll have to go get more color/get a stylist to fix it.
