Where do I start?

I am trying to decide on honeymoon locations and really have no idea where to start. We are getting married on July 2nd and hope to leave on the 5th for a honeymoon. The only  thing I have really looked at is the Sandals resorts. Any suggestions, ideas,....Just need some direction, as I could search the internet 24-7 and still be unsure! Thanks!

    I'd discuss with FI what type of place you want: tropical/beach, All-inclusive?  adults only? how long of a flight? budget? excusions? night light/entertainment? etc

    Once you start with that, then you can look into more specifc regions.  Tripadvisor is a great place to look for reviews of specifc resorts!

    we first started narrowing things down by having a cost in our mind..then how long we wanted to fly (some places require a longer flight and my FI hates flying) and then we made up our list and emailed our TA.

    I started by first ofcourse deciding on a budget! Then we wrote down all the places we might want to go. Colorado, Cape Cod, Chicago, St. Thomas, Maui. Then we went to Expedia and travelocity and put in our dates  and city and got ideas of what each trip was going to cost total. Then we started narrowing it down by hotels we liked, then surrounding attractions, if stuff was within walking distance or if we would have to rent a car. We had it narrowed down to Chicago and Maui then we were leaning more towards the ocean so we decided on Maui.

    PPs have given some good advice.  In addition to that, if you're looking for an all-inclusive beachy option, I would also look at Secrets, Excellence and Couples resorts.
