Bridal Co. in Allen- recommendation

Morning girls,

My MOH and I went to Bridal Co. in Allen (which was formerly in Denton) last night and FINALLY ordered the bridesmaids dresses. The selection and prices were great and the staff was so nice and helpful! We had a great experience there. The dresses are shipped to the store so there is no shipping fee added to the cost of the dress. The link below is the dress we went with, in Peach Fizz, dreamy color!! If you have taller girls in your party they can add on 3" to most dresses for only $10.

Re: Bridal Co. in Allen- recommendation

  • That's the dress that my girls are wearing too, but in charcoal gray!

We actually ordered them straight through Alfred Angelo though, and I hate to tell you this but...they were a bit cheaper that way. : /  However, Alfred Angelo was kind of a PITA with a few things (mostly, not offering us rush delivery when we needed it - then me finding out from a BM in another city that it actually was available - then me having to make 6453152 calls to have it added and the store making 68415315 excuses about why it wasn't offered at the time that we ordered). Soo, maybe it's worth the extra $$ since Bridal Co. sounds like they have good customer service.

  • It was cheaper than $99? Wow!! BTW, you MUST have good taste!! haha!

I called Alfred Angelo yesterday and the girl that answered the phone was so rude and obnoxious that I was on a mission to find it at another store. The staff at Bridal co. was very accomodating and the process was simple. Sorry AA was such a pain, I am learning that the wedding industry employees act kind of high maintenance and snotty, why this is, I dont know but I prefer to work with easy going. The process is stressful enought without catching attitude from a dang dress sales associate! :)

Haha, YOU must have good taste, too! Yeah, it actually wasn't a huge difference. I think it was $89 and they had a sale going on for maybe 10 or 15% off all dresses so it was around $75-80.

I completely agree with you though. I mean, the sales people were nice enough but when I had to call and talk to the manager about the whole rush thing it was just a royal pain. One of the employees had given me incorrect info on the whole process, and a few times they didn't answer the phone and their voicemail was FULL. Just ridiculous and a terrible business practice. Plus she kept blaming all of the issues on corporate. Soo, if I end up having some free time after the wedding I will definitely be putting a complaint in about that location. I'm sure it won't make a difference though.

Anyway, I'm glad it worked out for you! Sounds like you made a smart decision. :)

  • T oadd my 2 cents, I almost went with Bridal Co and loved the people there.  They were so accomodating.  Although I ended up at Stardust who had Sottero & Midgeley gowns, my 2nd pick was the Bridal Co. one.  The guys that run it are awsome!
