Card box

So, I am NOT crafty, or at ALL a good DIY type of person. I have NO patience and I usually end up throwing stuff in the garbage when I try to get crafty. BUT, I was determined to make my own card box. I didn't want to spend $100.00 on one on Etsy, and I didn't really want to do a birdcage. So, I decided I was going to wing it. And this is the result !

I am SOOOOOOOOO friggin proud of myself !!!!

Very cute! A box and birdcage aren't the only options though. I'm using an old suitcase that my mom got when she graduated high school. It will like similar to this one.

I LOVE the suitcase idea. I actually considered doing that, but the gift/card table will be outside. Not in a space where I'm worried about things being stolen, but its right next to the San Francisco bay... so, it can get breezy towards the evening. I didn't want anything open and the wind picking something up and taking off with it !

I don't think anyone is behind.... I just wanted to get it done, cuz I am NOT crafty and wanted to have time to buy one if I screwed it up !

I was really worried about cutting the holes the right size so the top box didn't fall through the bottom box !!!
