Ordained a friend?

I was wondering if anyone knows if it it legal in Southern CA to have an ordained minister online to marry a couple? I want to have my mentor marry my fiance and I and he has agreed but are there any concerns I should be aware of?

sorry, i'm confused with the question - are you looking to get married "online" or are you asking if one can be ordained online and then officiate your wedding?  If it's the latter, the answer is yes :)  My cousin-in-law is officiating my fiance and I.  In fact, orange county has a special "permit" i guess you could call it, where you are licensed for that day to officiate.  I don't think there are any concerns you need to be aware of...if there are, i'm not aware of them either! :)

In Orange County go to the Clerk Recorders Office and ask for the Deputy Commissioner of Marraige for a day program. Its easy, our friend is officating out ceremony next week. It does need to be completed 45 days before the wedding.  Good Luck !
