Yesterday DH and I got in my vehicle to get groceries. The dang thing only clicked. It was obvious it was the battery. We jumped it with DH's car but it wouldn't start after we turned it off.
We took the battery to be tested at an auto parts store. It didn't test well so we came home with a new one. It's seriously as easy as making sure + and - are in the right position and securing the clamps.
I feel very TF sometimes after DH teaches me how to do something handy.
Re: I can now change a car battery if I had to
My dad taught me how to change a tire eons ago and the one time I actually needed to do it, I had a fractured elbow. I haven't had to change one since either.

Ditto. We get our money's worth every year between the towing, the jumps, the tire changes/repairs.
