Well you got my venue on your list already! Atlantic Beach Club fits all your criteria....they have been great to work with. My wedding is in September. I would call soon though....they book fast! Good luck!
  • Independance Harbour its in Assonet MA. Its not beachy but it has water and pretty gardens adn the food was good. Got a free brunch for going to check it out. We didnt end up picking because alittle farther out in one direction from our church than we wanted.  GL

  • What about Kinney Bungalow? It is by the water, a unique venue and affordable.

Another venue that isn't usually on people's radar is Herreshoff Maine Museum in Bristol. You have the option of arriving by boat and docking right outside! Very unique and fairly affordable too. Definitely a hidden gem.

I second Kinney! Getting married there in September, and do not have enough great things to say about it. :-)

  • Glen  Manor in Portsmouth is nice--we were going to look at it--but they didn't have our date.

We are using Newport Beach Hotel and Suites--it is across from Atlantic Beach Club so it is across from the watera;)
  • I would suggest the Towers only if you are closer to 150 guests, after thatit would be tight.

How about Linden place? You mentioned the BHI so I'm not sure if you checked that out as well.

  • what is BHI? I already have a venue - just curious :)
  • BHI is Bristol Harbor Inn.  I think they just recently started hosting weddings at this location....capacity of 140....haven't done much more research on it but looks like a unique venue however seem to have alot of "fees" and "service charges" that could add up!
  • I'm a Regatta bride! We had our reception there last October and they did a wonderful job!
You could also check out the North Beach Club House in Narragansett. It's literally on the beach. The room itself isn't much to speak of, but you can decorate it really nicely and the deck/view is magnificent! My friend had her reception there, plus her hubby's birthday party! You need a caterer, which can also save you money. I'm not sure of the size though. http://www.narragansettri.gov/index.aspx?NID=359

  • What about a historic ballroom on the Pawtuxet River?  No beach

We held our wedding there and they were great to work with.
