Wedding gift for FI

Hi Ladies!!

I am in Baltimore until tomorrow at a work conference.  So fun :) At least this time i was able to travel with two of my awesome co-workers.
'
Anyway.. I have been trying to think and think of something to give FI as a small wedding gift and I also wanted to find a way that he could have his brother "with" him that day.  well yesterday I stumbled upon cufflinks on etsy that you can  have pictures put on and I thought this would be perfect.. what do you all think?

  • Such a cute idea!!! My FI won't let me buy cufflinks cause he says he wont ever wear them again. I think its so cute though. II think thats a great way for his brother to be with him throughout the day!

  • Obviously I do not know the background here- but did FI's brother pass away? If so, I think it's a good idea. The only thing I'd be worried about is that a couple guests may notice and ask him what's on the cufflinks and that could make him sad.  If he has come to terms with it, then the cufflinks are a good way for him to remember his brother and he'll be okay to talk about it, but if he's still senstive then the nosy people might upset him.

Yes Fi brother passed away in September.  He has come to terms with his loss but I was hopping the cuff links would be a subtle way for him to have his brother with him and not something that everyone would really notice.
  • As long as you don't think it would make him sad at all, I say go for it!

PS - I love Baltimore!  There's a tapas restaurant right on the water in the inner harbor that is to DIE for!!
