The Mansion (TFWC)

I am absolutely in LOVE with this venue. I just need to know what it cost other brides to furnish/deck-out the place. Anyone who actually had their wedding here: What items did you have to rent/purchase and how much did it end up costing? Im talking glassware, flatware, trashcans and toilet paper...anything that you had to spend money on, I wanna know about it. Since the venue is close to 3K for JUST the use of the space, Im trying to weigh my options.

I'm using the Mansion for my wedding in June - we went with Pappa's Catering (Pappasitas) and they are a full service catering service which means they provide everything!  Well you pay for it, but they do it all.  That's been really helpful at the Mansion since nothing is provided.  We are renting their tables and chairs though.

how much does it cost to rent their chairs and tables? and your caterer provides glassware and flatware and all that??

It was cheaper to rent the tables and chairs from the Mansion and then we'll add the others we need from Pappas.  Pappas can provide EVERYTHING we need - cake stands, glasses, flatware, table cloths, etc.  Pappas actually gets all their stuff from another rental company in Austin (I think Premiere?) and then you have to pay a few dollars surcharge more than if you just got it from Premiere.  We decided to go with Pappas instead of just getting it all from Premiere to make it easier on us with less vendors and Pappas' price includes set up and take down.

Pappas sounds awesome! I actually work for a small restaurant and my boss/friend/chef is helping me out with the food so im kinda on my own to find all the extras. Thats one of the reasons that I really wanted to go with The Mansion, because I could write my own menu with my chef. The downside is no set-up or take-down, although I might be able to haul over the china, etc from my work. Thanks for the all the info! By the way, what photographer are you using. I was interested in Heather Curiel because I thought her vintage-inspired style would work nice with the venue. And not to attack you with questions, this is the last one I promise....but were you going with DJ or live band?
