    i think most of those supposed suplements (pills, shakes, additives) are bunk.  Aside from having medical problems, a fitness plan and a well balanced, healthy diet are really all anyone needs to acheive their weight loss and fitness goals.  Along with emotional support of course.  I tried tons of those gimmicky things (pills, powders, vitamins, shakes) and nothing was a long term fix.  Doing it the old-school healthy way has worked well for me.

    Perhaps you could tell us a bit about your goals and what you're doing now and we could help you work out a plan of attack for what you want.

  • Just from personal experience they taste good and are great in  a convenience sort of way but in the long run changing up the foods you eat and adding a good multi vitamin will be just as beneficial if not more healthy for you.  You can't be on a half liquid diet forever.  Also.. it adds up quick, the price just isn't worth it to me but that's my opinion after trying it.

    I did herbal life a few years back and lost 17 pounds pretty quickly.  I felt pretty good.  Pretty soon, however, I started to feel really weak.  I went to the doctor and my blood pressure was really low.  My doctor said these kinds of diets cause this effect in some people but not all.  So if you do start herbal life watch out for stuff like that.
