Anyone use Tecumseh Trolley and Limo??

Has anyone used Tecumseh Trolley and Limo services? I have read reviews that the trolleys are expensive but people didn't say how much. The only other place that has a trolley is Entertainment Express but I'm not interested in using them. Any info would be great!

Thanks!

I've never used them but I'm curious what the responses are because I think of all the limo companies we've looked at so far this one got the best reviews :)

I am looking for a Trolly to and looked into them. Let me know what you decide. I really don't want to use Entertainment Express either.

I have booked them for my August 13 wedding (without reviews, which makes me nervous).

I booked their biggest trolley (named Dollie) it seats 34.  I live in Ann Arbor.  My fee, for 7 hours, is about $1300.  That's all-in, including tax and driver tip.  I have a lot of people I need to transport, so I needed a big limo bus if I went that way, and while the initial quotes were cheaper, they did not include tax or driver tip, so everything actually came out pretty close in the end.  There *may* be a fuel surcharge, but at $4/gallon gas, it will only be about $20.

As an FYI, I also looked into a 4 hour quote, and that was about $1000.  So, the fee isn't linear to the amount of time.  Since I have their biggest trolley, my guess is some others are cheaper.

I'll definitely come back and review Tecumseh Trolley after the wedding.

Not sure where your weddings are at, but you can rent the Wyandotte Trolley, but it's limited to Wayne County locations.

My wedding will be in Washtenaw county. I knew about Wyandotte trolley but heard you can't have liquor on there and the News Hearld published an article back in June saying the Wyandotte trolley will have limited use.

Meg - how are you using your 7 hours with the trolley?

The main reason we are getting a trolley is we have a large wedding party from OOT, and we want to take pictures in a few different locations around Ann Arbor.  Having people in cars seemed like a logistical nightmare for that.  If the WP was smaller, or if more people knew their way around, I would not have hired transportation (as it is, I hired it less than 2 months before my wedding).

When I booked, I didn't have a day-of schedule, so I really don't need the full 7 hours (so if I had made a schedule in advance, it would have saved me an hour of trolley payment).  When I thought about the 4-hour trolley, it would have been only for pictures beforehand, and would not have transported the WP to the reception.

We are taking pictures before the ceremony and it generally breaks down like this (I actually still need to talk to my photographer about this schedule, to see if it makes sense):

Hour 0-1: Moving everyone to the first picture location on Central Campus (there are a couple of stops for this)
Hours 1-3: Move around various groups of people to different picture locations (Arb and North Campus, specfically) and then drop off at the church
Hour 3-5: Trolley is unused, waiting for ceremony/receiving line/etc.
Hour 5-6: Transport wedding party to reception.

My best friend rented the big one too and we all loved it! I think I'll be using them for my wedding next May. She had hers from 1pm (to take us to the church) until about 5pm (it took us around for pictures then dropped us off at the reception) and it as $1100. For two hours next May, they quoted me $865 including tip.
