Transportation

I am on a very strict budget. I don't know how to get my bridal party to and from the wedding. My fiance suggested him and the groomsmen can ride in the explorer there. But how will me, daddy, and the girls get there. And then how will we all leave. Limos are like $100 a hour and then a minimum of 4 hours are needed, and the wedding time is like 7 hours. That is money that could be spent somewhere else more productive.
I really need some ideas becasue I really don't want to spend 1400 on transportation to and from the wedding.

Are you getting married in a church and then going to a seperate location for your reception or is everything at one place? I don't think you should worry about getting to your ceremony and reception. You could go in your parent's car maybe?
As for leaving the reception, have you thought about renting a luxurty car thru enterprise? You could try to get a black lincoln town car (that would look classy). I think it only costs about $80 a day and sometimes they have weekend rates that are cheaper. If you're going on you honeymoon the day after your wedding, you could stay at a nice hotel near the airport and return the car at the enterprise there.

If you rent a car, just make sure everyone knows you have so it doesn't get decorated!

I hope that gives you an idea. Good luck!

For my wedding everyone just drove their own cars. We left in our own car from the wedding because we couldn't afford limos. I only had three bridesmaids so we could all fit in one car.

If transporation isn't a high priority for you, I agree that the money could be spent elsewhere. You can see if any friends or family have a nice classic car that you can borrow as well.

I'm renting a 2010 Ford Expedition from Mac Haik Ford Rental, rental is $249.95 (plus taxes) for weekend as transportation for me/father. Going to have florist decorate with flowers on hood.

You receive 700 free miles with each mile being .20 cents each.

it's really not that important to most people... we all drove our own cars too. if you dont have the $$$ for renting something, dont stress about it.
