Happy Monday!

I had a great weekend. The baseball game was awesome. Feild level 6th row seats and the Mets actually won!

Plans for this week:

WR: Writing TY from my first shower, starting to look over/plan menu and music. Work on planning RD and possible grooms cake. Decide what I'm doing for ceremony music. Work on writing ceremony.

NWR: Work, start going to the gym again, Friday my sister comes home! Then this weekend is the big festival in town so I'll be there most of the weekend.

Happy Monday! My weekend was awesome, I had a great birthday and got to spend some much needed time out with my friends.

WR: Lots to do this week. We pick up our invites this week and need to start addressing them. Also need to reserve our rentals for the ceremony, our transportation, finalize the accessories for my BM's and FG's, order all the accesories for the ceremony and work on our songs list.

NWR: Not much this week, just doing a bunch of spring cleaning!

Time to get moving on this long list of wedding stuff!

Yes they were great. I had such a stress free weekend it was great!!!! We got drunk and had a great time at the concert lol.

Sunday we just hung out and did some yard work it was great!!

Monday already???

WR: Mailing out invites at some point this week. Still have to work on picking out readings for the ceremony and making appointments with the priest and musical director. Hair trial tomorrow.

NWR: I have a job interview tomorrow with a local school district and I'm REALLY NERVOUS.

I'm sad the weekend is over

I had such a good weekend between my shower, visiting with friends and family, and we had another meething with our venue yesterday that went SO well. I'm feeling really good about everything.

WR this week: start on my thank you cards for my shower and order the RB pillow and FG basket.

NWR: one of my BM's from Wyoming came into town for my shower this past weekend and for her baby shower this Saturday, so I have to go shopping for that and then obv go to her shower this weekend. I'm so excited to meet the baby! She had him almost a month ago and is having her shower kind of in reverse order since this is the only time she could come home.

Hello everyone!

I had a wonderful weekend. I chaperoned prom this weekend- My FI and best friend work at the same school so we did it together. So, that was fun. And we also had our shower yesterday. Got a bunch of nice stuff!

This weeks tasks: Get pics of my mom and I scanned for her gift. Order that. And, I need to start eating healthy and excercising riiiiggght, NOW! So, yeah, that starts this week too.

oh. my. god. bachelorette party in Chicago (not mine, one of my girlfriends) = SO MUCH FUN but worst hangover ever. We started drinking at about 3pm and we didn't get home until 5AM (which was 6am my time). I haven't stayed out that late since....I really can't remember. But it was such a fun time! We all pitched in $30 to rent this old-fashioned party trolley. It was the best bachelorette party planning decision I have ever seen. It took us from bar to bar, and we didn't have to worry about cabs, walking, etc. - plus we took 8 coolers of beers onto the trolley, so it helped save us all $$. Plus we had dance parties on the trolley too. Here is a fun pic of everyone in front of the trolley:

I am definitely going to recommend doing something like this for my bachelorette party just because catching cabs, figuring out who is driving/how we are getting from place to place is always such a pain at bach parties. oh, also, we went to a drag show and it was the craziest/most fun/weirdest thing I have ever seen, but it was so perfect and fun for a bachelorette party.

I didn't really do anything else over the weekend. We need to be wedding-productive this week!

My first hair and makeup trial is on Saturday, then I have my shower!!! I am really nervous/anxious about being the center of attention and having people look at me

My weekend was good. It was my nieces 1st Communion yesterday, and on Saturday FI & I went out to celebrate him getting a promotion! yay!

WR: Mailing out my invites some time with week since they are sitting on my dining room table staring at me in the face all stamped and what not. lol.

NWR: Not doing much this weekend. We have a lot going on after this weekend so we are going to try and take it easy.

Had a nice weekend-
Friday FI and just about finished our invitations (thank god I was almost about to send an evite)
Saturday I just went shopping with FSIL and FSMIL we had lunch at Maggianos and a really nice day (we got my neice's ears pierced) and I also picked up my shoes (i had them dyed blue so I will pic later)
Sunday- Went dress shopping with FMIL. She didnt try on anything but she did find a dress she likes so not sure what her plan is.

this week-
WR: Finishing our damn invites!! Saturday I have my first hair trial and I am super excited

I am going to start working on our programs and I need to get a hold of our organist (we emailed him 2 weeks ago with no response)

NWR: We have FI cousins wedding on Saturday so that should be fun. Other then that this week will be quite.

mbody we tried to go to Hangge Uppe at like 2am actually!!! But when we got there the line was CRAZY long - we stopped in front of it in the trolley for awhile before heading somewhere else, haha!

We went to the Baton Lounge, Inn Joy, English, Big City something or other, Clark Street Ale House......I think somewhere else but I can't really remember right now haha! It was so much fun!

Finished my card box and started tying ribbons around the bubbles yesterday. I also finished addressing all of my invitations and wrote all of my shower thank you notes!

Also, vent: I went to go see American Reunion last night, and when we got to the theatre, they said that they had cancelled it because they were using that screen for the Avengers. WTF? It was still listed on their website an hour before the movie started! Sheesh.

This week:

WR: sending invitations! working on bubble ribbons, and finding a MUA and hair person. Also, hopefully planning our last trip to San Diego before the wedding to get our marriage license!

NWR: going to my birthday dinner with my aunt on Tuesday, working out, working, birthday lunch with parents on Friday, and whatever FI has planned for us on Friday night. Yay!

Happy Monday!! Sounds like everyone had a great weekend.. I definitely did! My cousin's wedding on Saturday was SO nice and yesterday we had champagne brunch with FI's family which was also great.

WR: Buying stamps today and mailing my shower TYs! Got them all done on Friday

Also, FI willl be sending in the order today for our rings (I think we are both skipping the engraving) and we need to figure out transportation. On Wednesday I have my first dress fitting and I'm also going to try on different bras and decide which one to purchase.

NWR: Work and dedicating myself to getting back into a healthy eating/exercise regime. I totally went off my diet this last week!

Wow! This thread is already busy!! I'm catching up reading everybody's weekend!!

I slept for 24 hours over the weekend, I NEEDED that!! I'm not too sad to be back to work today, I feel refreshed

We put up blinds/curtains in our guest rooms and they're finally looking like actual rooms!

I'm feeling a bit stressed with work though- we only have 17 days of school left and I'm trying to plan the final weeks. I realized I am not where I would like to be with one of my classes- we should be an unit ahead. But oh well, guess every semester is different!!

I'm excited for this weekend, going to go to the cities and finalize the cake/flower/menu plans on Saturday with my mom and FI. I'll be really tired next week though!!

Glad everyone had nice weekends! Bachelorette parties and showers all looked so much fun! My weekend was pretty laid back, laid by the pool, went to a street fair, got my hair colored and and bought extensions for the wedding, and ate some good sushi on saturday night date night.

WR - This week I have my first dress fitting on Saturday and I'll be picking up my invitations from my mom to start addressing them. I also received an e-mail from our minister saying it's time to schedule our final meeting, aahh! Starting to get so close!

NWR - FSIL birthday this weekend, FIL's are surprising her with a boat and we will cruise around Newport beach and then go out to dinner and bars after and stay the night. Kicking it into high gear at the gym. Taking my mom and FMIL out to brunch on Sunday morning.

Ladies, all of your weekends sound so fun! Bach parties, showers, etc.

I can't wait to be able to partake in the PIPs!

mbody/butterfly - I've never been to Chicago (I know, right???), but fiance has a ton of friends there so we intend to go sometime in the fall post-wedding.

This weekend I addressed all of the invitations (and didn't mess ANY additional ones up!) but we still haven't received our stamps from the USPS, so they are all just sitting there, on my dining room table, staring at me . . . unstamped. I really wanted to send them today, but looks like it'll have to be another day this week (hopefully tomorrow?). I really hope these freakin stamps get here already.

I also ordered our oversized timeline postcards that I designed (with Bmore's help!) as well as some Thank You notes, a rubber stamp, and a few tote bags from VP because I had to use up the Groupons I bought.

This week: Nothing really planned either WR or NWR, other than sending out the invitations!

I like that i could catch up on everybody's life through reading this. Being gone for just a few days and a lot happens!

This weekend was great. Graduation was surreal, and my shower on Saturday was a lot of fun! I will probably do a run-down in a new post when i get some of the pictures.

This week is going to be a little busy, but hopefully not too bad.

WR: INVITES! Im meeting with the friend thats printing them tomorrow to assemble and hopefully address and stamp a few to get them out. Also, my first dress fitting is thursday! I need to find what I'll be wearing underneath first. And oh, shower thank yous.

NWR: Cleaning out apartment boxes, and start making some house boxes. Also, FI's softballl league starts this week. We have a house inspection wednesday. Then Saturday is FI's roommate's wedding, which he is BM in. So that takes a lot of friday and saturday.

I had a good weekend. Finished up the invites and my pictures and frames from our parents and grandparents weddings. Went shopping with my mom on Saturday and looked at apartments yesterday.

This week:

WR: I mailed my invites on the way to work. Yea so glad to have that done and out of the way. I need to start working on the music must play and do not play lists, wedding programs, I have my first hair and makeup trial on Saturday. We need to order the FG dress and RB tux as well. Meeting with my MOH to order shirts for my bachelorette trip to Vegas I can't wait!

NWR: Start eating healthy and going to the gym I am so not motivated because I have been so stressed but I really need to do this. I also have a ton to do for school finish grading and get my grades ready to turn in next week. Then I can start working on report cards and packing up my room since I am moving schools next year.

This weekend flew by, even though I had a three day weekend. We spent the whole weekend packing and moving essentially.

This weeks to do's:

WR - Need to get in touch with the lady who is addressing our envelopes. I need to work on some smaller things, like hangers for the BM's. Oh and I think my shower is this weekend, so maybe I should find a dress for that.....

NWR - My house is still full of boxes, and we have barely unpacked any of them yet, so since we have no cable/internet/tv at the moment that will be all we are doing the next few days. Also, hopefully the Celtics lose tomorrow night because I got tickets to the Thursday game 11 rows back from a client and I'll be so pumped to watch them play at home and win the series!

Had an excellent weekend! I got all of my bridal shower thank you notes sent out. Also addressed all of our wedding invitations and purchased all of the plates and silverware for the reception.

We just got back from getting our marriage license!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WR: Make card box and finalize program fans.

NWR: Work as usual, clean the house, I leave on Sunday for another work trip.

Whoa, awesome weekends all around. FI and I had a low key weekend, staying home binging on margaritas out on our deck and watching the Derby. We only had this one and one other weekend that had nothing WR in it, so we soaked up the nothingness.

This week:

WR: address all of our invitations and get stamps so they can be mailed next week, cut my squares of burlap for centerpieces, and get to twining my jars!

NWR: Continue our fitness routine...go see my mama for mother's day!
