wedding dress train

i am confused on what to do..i am having my dress bustled and i am not sure if i am so keep it unbustled till after the ceremony or just for pics? i am afraid the dress will get filthy due to it being outside and i have a long walk to FH

    You can do whatever you want, but I would defnitely keep it unbustled for the ceremony AND the pics.  It is beautiful and makes great pictures!  If you don't there's almost no point having a train.  Lol.  Most people seem to bustle it up for the reception.

    You'll have to have someone carry your train while you move around, so that the bottom doesn't get so dirty.

    Like PP said.  Except for walking down the aisle and right after the ceremony, make sure FI or one of your bridesmaids are carrying the train everywhere you walk during pictures, etc.  That will prevent a LOT of dirt from getting on it, yet you'll still be able to show it off in pics and during the ceremony.
