Anyone watch The Bachelor?

I'll admit, I'm a huge Bachelor/Bachelorette fan. I've watched every season.

Anyone watching Brad Womack...again? Takes on him coming back for a second time?

I am watching it right now...

I don't understand why everyone thought he was such a jerk just because he didn't pick someone.

I think he did both of those women a favor by not picking either of them. If he wasn't in love with them, then why pick them? I don't think he did anything wrong!
He can't really control the fact that he didn't think either of them were "the one".

If you didn't record it, you can watch it on ABC.com.

Kellie Raspberry was facebooking about it all night.  I laughed when she started writing about the girl coming back barefoot.

I thought he was a tool the first time around and my opinion has not changed.

That being said, ITA with you Natalie--I thought the same thing when he didn't pick anyone, in fact, I admired him for it.

I think I am going to be grossed out this season though--I mean, he just gives me the creeps and I see nothing attractive about him.  It already grossed me out seeing all those girls making out with him.  Ewww.

Maybe I'm showing my age (or a little prudeness), but how do you expect to find the love of your life by just making out with them and having a few conversations with them?  It's more of a game and that is made more clear to me every time that one of the couples breaks up.

    Steph,

I don't see anything attractive about him either.

Julie, I will have to look at Kellie's page.

Also, did anyone notice how they didn't put the girls' ages this time around? That's something new. I kind of liked seeing their ages.

Yes, actually Ben noticed this.  But I read somewhere that the oldest girl is 30 and Brad is 38--I told Ben they are too ashamed to put the ages up there because they are all so young!

(However if that is true, then I think a couple of them lied about their age.)

</div><div>Completely agree. I don't know how much I believe that many of these girls really believe they're going to find their husbands in 6 weeks, on a tv show. And if they really do think that, they're crazy.</div><div>
</div><div>But, you know, Trista is living happily ever after. However I think she's the exception.

</div><div>That's a first too, because normally there are a lot over the age of 30. Which, I think is great because it mixes things up. Too many twenty something's is never a good thing! hahahah.

I do think that there are some mature 20somethings out there.  However, I think that the producers/casters for these shows generally skip over them.  I also think that a normal, mature 30 year old would not appear on a show like this.
  • edited December 2011
Agreed Julie, because most mature 30 year old women want to find their husbands the natural way.

I totally watch this show for enjoyment purposes only.  I find the whole thing ridiculous.  But I love watching it with Ben and he's actually the one who got me hooked on it--although he usually watches it with his buddies after they workout on Mondays.

I have to admit though--I was really rooting for Allie and I think her and Roberto are adorable.  And if they get married on TV I'm totally watching it.
