For those who are looking for a photography or have one, be thankful you dont have mario michelle photography. please spread the word. So what happened to us wont happen to you, friends, and family members. We are now without pictures and 4000 dollars........

Wow. My friend used them a while ago (maybe 4-5 years) and had a great experience, so she recommended them to a bunch of people. Later she felt terrible because she found out they didn't do such a great job for her friends who booked based on her recommendation, they had trouble getting their photos, etc. That was the last I heard about them until now.

Do you have any information on the bankruptcy? Complaints with the BBB are different than bankruptcy.

I ask because friends (who used Mario Michele after they had trouble with Celebrations) are having trouble getting in touch with them.

Ok guys this is the response i got today from my email account months after emails wilth no response dated today March 18, 2010

Thank you for contacting Photography By Mario Michele. Unfortunately, Photography By Mario Michele has filed bankruptcy. You will receive notice shortly from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. Thank you for your past loyal service.

We got married 2/15/09.....................and we dont have an album yet.......please there is so many photographers out there dont use this one

yes but at this point legal action is going to cost money to......just got done reading posts and posts of angry people when will this end.

I just got the notice yesterday..we have proofs with their name all over them..does anyone know how to get that removed? How do I get an album with Mario Michele's name all over my proofs..we were also suppossed to get a DVD with all our pictures on it..and we never did..can't they just go to their computer and download the pictures for us so we can just get the album made somewhere else?? I'll even give them the dvd...
we also have an uncut video..any recommendations on where to go to get a finalized one??

So upsetting..that was $6000 wasted...so sad ...already paid in order to get the proofs...they should of gotten final payment when we got our albums finished...they will probably claim bankruptsy just to open up another store under a new name..

They wiil move to South Jersey, call themselves M and M photography and make hundred thousand dollars off our fucking albums that they use to show there new cliants. My sincere apologizes to everyone that has been effected by this situation. From my understanding with chapter 7 bankrupt matters, I as the solo creator of these images while shooting for this studio now have the rights to them and I would like to help out.

I was the only female photographer that was working at that time for them my name is Elzbieta aka Ella... Hello Everyone,

I am victim as well. We paid 12,000 in full (in 2008) & have nothing to show but digital pictures that they didn't even take!!!! Over and over Sonia Crews & Lucia Nobelli-Fazio presented lie after lie to their clients. How can they be bankrupt? They pulled in 150,000 in 2009 and 400,000 in 2008 (according to their tax records) and none of their clients have their contracted goods? Sounds like misappropriation of funds. BTW, Sonia has a company called Escape to Beauty which she ran from the hoboken space.

My husband went to the Meeting of the Creditors and MMS did not recieve their bankruptcy judgement. There will be another session at the end of June. All submissions to the Trustee must be made by May 7, 2010 and any statements must be accompanied by proof. Please keep in mind that there are very few things that will prevent the Trustee from discharging the debts. Two main things that one may attempt to prove are that there are assets of the corporation elsewhere that have not been disclosed in the bankruptcy action and that the individual shareholders were distributing money to themselves for personal use despite the corporation's almost insolvent status. That is why it's important to provide copies of any checks that you have made payable to any of the shareholders individually instead of the corporation or that have been deposited into an account that is not listed on the bankruptcy petition and to obtain as much information about Escape to Beauty and its assets and its relationship to Mario Michele, etc. I realize many have been told they have no recourse and it's not important to show up to the creditors' meeting. However, it's not a 100% guarantee that the bankruptcy action will end one way or the other. So, it's in everyone's best interest to get involved and do what can be done to prove the above.

As stated on the MMSFRAUD message board on Googlegroups:

"Deputy at Judge Stern's office and he states that he has only received 20 motions to dismiss. PLEASE PLEASE fill out the template or send your case. He says the judge is aware of the situation and is reading each individual motion. We are making good NOISE! They also will be rescheduling the June 7th date to July 19th 10am because they "NOW have evidence that they have to sort out and try to figure out how to handle the hearing on the 7/19" thanks and please again fill out the petition it is not too late"

Can someone tell me how I can go about getting my negatives (they used film for my wedding)? i never received a letter and don't have the attorney's information. Any information you can provide would be appreciated as I never received my albums, either.
