Suggestions for Las Vegas Wedding

Hello Ladies,

I have been engaged for 6months, and we are looking into planning a Vegas Wedding.  Both of my FI and I are from different states so we figured that Vegas would be the perfect place to celebrate and have a get a way for us and our families.  I am looking for some suggestions on venues or wedding packages, I have looked around a bit.  Does anyone have any ideas for me :)

Thanks :)

about how many people are you expecting? that is really going to determine what kind of venues you can pick.

Try checking through some of the other knottie's bios. There are tons of unique wedding ideas in Vegas, and many people have given feedback on their vendors.

    Welcome!

Figure out the number of guests and your budget first.  Read the first 2 stickeys on the top of the page they have many of the popular vendors used and bios from fellow knotties

Hello and welcome! Do you have any ideas in mind such as chapels, garden, hotel setting, not a hotel setting? Budget? Guest count? BP or no BP?

I would also suggest closing down one of your posts since you double posted.  That way all the good advice is in one thread.  Just post a link to the first thread in the second thread and direct people to leave advice there.

I think I posted my advice in another thread for you.

I don't get married often, but when I do, I do it in Las Vegas.

    Hi Bitzy! Welcome :)

Congrats on your engagment and your pregnancy. My FI and I have an 8 month old.

Vegas is a fabulous idea! I am from San Antonio and my FI is from Wisconsin so LV was the perfect compromise. We are getting married in January.

Caesars Palace has wedding packages (LiNk). You can bargain with them and get the 'Bella Luna' package on a Saturday if your ceremony isn't during "wedding season".

If you want something non-traditional check out Angie from Peachy Keen (LiNk). we hired her to do our ceremony. I am getting married at the House of Blues, but I believe she will do it just about anywhere :) She has been amazing to work with so far!!

Sounds like you and I have alot in common :) I am from Minnesota and my Hubby is from Texas.  We are about to have a baby in Nov and we are thinking of waiting for at least a year on the Wedding.

And THank you everyone for your post :)  As far as number of people we are thinking around 100, and budget anything that is reasonably inexpensive because we are paying for everything ourselves. I like the hotel and the outdoor setting from what I have looked at online.
