Have you seen these?

They look pretty awesome, and aren't even that expensive.  Where are you getting your flowers from?  And what color flowers should I use?  I was thinking of something bring originally, but now I just don't know if I should do green & white.

    They are SOO gorgeous!

I still haven't decided what I'm doing for flowers. I think I'm gonna make my way to Pike Place this weekend, possibly tomorrow to talk to some vendors and see what will be around in July.

I am planning to do white flowers, but i love roses and those are so pretty! maybe I'll have to get something like that for my bouquet!

That would look cool!  I really do not like calla lilies, which is so annoying because they are all over the place, lol!  I like hydrangeas a lot, but I think they are going to be too $$$.  But what do I know anyway?  I can't even decide what COLOR flowers to have...

Yes, I am thinking about using a bright color to stand out against all the green & white.  Like a pink, purple, or orange.  But I just don't know!

i keep thinking about adding pink or purple but i don't want too much going on. i think since you just have white and green any of the three colors would work. now, which one do you prefer?

sorry to butt in... but jennyann, have you been to Tazer recently?  I think they will have pink-ish flowers outside near the outdoor ceremony site and the aisle runner for the bridge area (if you chose to use it) is a red-ish color.

So maybe you might want to use flowers in the pink/red color spectrum?  HTH!

I don't mind you butting in, mgoss.  I was there last weekend, and they did have some pinkish-purple rhodedendrons blooming...  Which probably won't be blooming when I get married, but did look good with all the green.  My BMs are wearing green so red is out.  I think I am leaning toward purple or pinkish purple, but that's today.  Yesterday I liked peach.
Mgoss, what are YOU doing for flowers? =)

jennyann:  sorry, I haven't been posting this weekend, so I just saw your reply :)

I plan to use white tulips for BM's bouquets and for myself.  I'm tempted to add a second color of tulip, probably pink or purple (leaning towards purple... go Huskies Tongue out).  Tulips are Spring flowers though, so no help there... sorry!

I would love to use white peonies, but since my wedding is the first week of May, I don't think I will be able to find those.  I think peonies's season is late May to June, but I could be wrong.

If peonies are still in season by your wedding, I would use those.... they give off a quaint country feel imo.

I also plan on contacting the flower people from Mt. Vernon that have a huge flower selection at Pike Place Market sometime next Spring.  Since Tazer is "WAY" North, and my family lives in Skagit county, I'm hoping to be able to purchase the flowers in Mt. Vernon from them (rather than at Pike Place).
