Powell Crosley Mansion???

Hi! I remember a post a while back about someone having their rehersal dinner at the Powel Crosley Mansion. I can't find their contact information anywhere online. Does anyone have a phone number or website where I can find information about holding an event there?

Thats me. Just call the operator @ 853-5000 and ask to be connected to plant operations/management. The ladies name is Patty.
** If you know anyone who works at Mercy, get them to book it for you. Its only $75 for employees

Thanks so much! I am having a hard time finding a place on the west side for a rehersal dinner big enough for 70 people but that isn't a giant reception hall or a chain restraunt.

I went in it today, ITS GORGEOUS! I think even if you dont work at Mercy, its only like $130 or something and you bring in your own food, so its pretty cheap. Were going to do Walt BBQ

My neice had a graduation party for her son at the mansion Saturday.  The mansion and the grounds are beautiful.  The fireplaces, stained glass windows, and fasinating wall moldings are truly a work of art.  The bedrooms all had closets and private bathrooms except the few for servant near the back stairway to the kitchen.  There is an unground greenhouse and wine celler hidden in the finished off basement.  I took a lot of pictures but I had trouble loading them here.  Maybe I on put some on my facebook page.

I'm getting married there this weekend, here's what I know:  The title is being transferred from Mercy Hospital to the Cincinnati Preservation Society (soon or already has been).  CPS plans to lease the facility to Funky's Catering.  There will be some renovations involving putting in an up to date catering kitchen, a new tented event area.  Under the hospital, the rental fee for a day was $250 if rented by a Mercy employee, or $350 if rented by a non-employee.  I'd suspect that could change very dramatically once Funky's gets it and renovations are complete.  Funky's told me those changes will be done over the next few months.

CPS plans to take up the carpeting in the downstairs library/drawing rooms and finish off the fabulous teak floors underneath.

I hope, and I would ask if you are renting it, that the landscaping be redone and planting beds fully planted.....

Hope you have a great time there!
