If you really want your mom, or your best friend, or whoever at the wedding, make sure they can take the day off work to attend. It would suck to book the date and find out someone really important to you can't make it.

  You can have your wedding whenever you choose. However, if one of the major reasons you're choosing a weekday morning is that you expect many people to decline, you should probably rethink your logic. No matter when you have your wedding, it is imperative for you to plan as if everyone who is invited will attend. People may surprise you. Therefore, even if you do opt for a Friday morning affair, don't invite more guests than you can comfortably afford to host.

  Why not have it on Friday evening?  I think most people will have trouble getting off work for a morning wedding.  If cost is a factor you can have a later ceremony (around 8pm) and serve coffee, punch, champagne, and desserts after .

  Choose your date.  Invite everyone with whom you'd like to share the occassion.  Be ready for a lot of b*tching and moaning if you fear the start of world war 3 simply because you don't please everyone with your guest list.
