Finally Bought My Dress

And with 7 months to go...YAY!. I honestly thought it would take longer to find my dream dress, the one for me that I wanted. I went to just 1 salon and tried on just 5 dresses, but I was so over the experience already. Didn't really look forward to trying on any more. Then I saw my dress. It is perfect. 

Just so happens the dressmaker I wanted to make my dress had a dress for sale in her shop on a mannequin that I really liked. I thought it looked like the dress I had in my mind so I made an appointment to try it on. I was really excited because when she told me the price, I hoped I would still love it after I put it on. Well, when I put it on, I did not want to take it off. LOL. It is THE dress and I love it. Icing on the cake is the price (with alterations, the crinoline, washed and pressed): $220. I am over the moon and cannot wait for my final fitting and to get married in that dress. It has everything I was looking for and more.

    Congratulations!!! We're date twins...and I don't have my dress yet either...but I'm glad it went so well for you and you were able to find such a DEAL!!! I'm going Mother's Day weekend with my family so I'm very excited and hopeful I'll have a similar experience as you :)

    Nice! I don't have mine yet, but I have my first appointment Saturday!

    NOT looking foward to it, so hopefullly I find something as quickly as you did!

    I'm so relieved that other November brides are still dressless like me! I've already been shopping 3 times and haven't found the dress. I need to hop on it though..getting closer to six months than 7 for me!!

    Ha! Nope. It was my LEAST looked forward too wedding planning event.....but it ended up being not so bad. Ended up buying something the first place I went to! Seriously, I was dreading it like you don't even know and it ended up being ALMOST fun. Almost. So glad to have it done though! Now to just wait until it comes in!
