Wedding Bands!

FI and I went and purchased our wedding bands yesterday!  At first, he was VERY impatient as we had to wait almost 25 minutes to be helped. They were very short staffed and had a huge mothers day sale going on.

I already had something in mind as to what I was looking for, but fell in love with an enhancer that was COMPLETELY different than what I thought I wanted.  The one I chose really complimented my princess cut, diamond solitaire engagement ring!  I am in LOVE with it!  FI was a little hesitant at first in picking his out... but in the end, I think he ended up having more fun than I did!  He ended up picking out a tungsten band with a neat design on it.  We cant wait until they come in, in the right sizes!  The hard part is waiting 16 months from today to wear them! :)

Just wanted to share our excitement! Has anyone else bought their wedding bands recently or how was your experience?

    Haven't bought ours yet...

Do you have a picture of the enhancer you picked?  My diamond sits pretty low (my choice!) so a typical band won't sit flush up against it... I've been browsing at some enhancers, but would love to see the one you picked!

Where did you go to buy your rings?

    Yay for the check!

I also have a princess cut e-ring. I love my band. It took me forever to choose one I liked. I finally went with a round & baguette (they alternate) band.

We bought FI's ring at the Diamond Cellar sale they had a few weeks ago. My matching band is a bit expensive so I've just been putting it off. But, I should probably get on that! lol

We bought ours this weekend too!  I agonized over what my e-ring should be but for some reason I picked out my band in literally 15 minutes and FH was the same way.  I'm really picky about jewelry, so I hope I don't regret it.  It was a good experience; we went back to Edward Warren Jewelers in Pickerington, which is where we got the e-ring.  I think we got good deals.  FH compared prices all over town on the e-ring and theirs were the best.  Plus their customer service was good because the were willing to do whatever I wanted as in changing a ring, making a custom or ordering something not shown from a catalogue.

We love Edward Warren too, great service and prices, and I've done a lot of comparing. I think we will be buying our bands there, but I also love Jack Siebert in Upper Arlington- I am having them reset my engagement ring (it's not straight) and I've been so impressed with their customer service!

I dont have a picture! I didnt even THINK to take one before i sent it off to be sized...duh!!! We got them at Kay Jewelers.  My FI and I joke all the time and we changed their slogan to "Every Kiss Begins with Kay(lee)" (my name is Kaylee obviously lol) So it was only fitting for us to get my e-ring and our wedding rings there!  PLUS when we got the e-ring, we got a $300 gift certificate for spending a certain amount so that was awesome!

We had a great experience buying the bands. I knew I didn't want a traditional set. Because I'm left handed and wanted to get my e-ring resized for my right hand. Took me a while to find just the right band but I got a 3 row diamond eternity band from the Diamond Cellar at the Spring Bridal event and we got his band soon after. Mine looks just as good a year later after the wedding and I love how it makes a statement without being over the top. My husband abuses his ring though! He didn't care what he got as long it had a sleek, modern design, so because he made me choose, he got a white gold brushed finish. But because of how he takes care of it, I have to go and get it buffed for him once a season. The wedding ring shopping was so awesome because it was the only outward symbol of your wedding and it shows off our personalities.
