Head Spins

So back when josh went OOT for work for the first time ever my dr gave me anxiety pills (I really dont do well alone). So I'm having a highly undesirable day and decided to take one. WHOA! I know that taking 2 was not a good idea for me, but I only took one and my head is spinning. I feel like I did the first time I got high! Minus the giggles and munchies...

I have to take anxiety meds on a daily basis to be able to function. It took me a while to find a combination that worked, and I always felt like a space cadet whenever I was on something new.

Is it a capsule or a tablet? If it's a tablet that is immediate release, you can always try half a pill and see how that does for you until you have taken them a few times.

Yeah its a tablet. Ive been on a few different kinds in the past and I hated them. I only taken them now when Im overwhelmed and simply dont want to feel any emotion. I used to take them everyday. My freshman yr of college was a veeeery bad time, but no matter what I took I always felt like a blank slate when I took em. I could watch a fried die and feel nothing. So I went to therapy instead and got myself to a place where I didnt need them anymore. Just once in a while.

Yeah I totally get where you are coming from. I went off all my meds for about two years, but it didn't go so well. It's going to suck when I want to get pregnant and have to quit taking everything, but hopefully it will work out.

Thats part of why I decided to get off them. I still have bad days but not bad enough that I NEED meds, just that I reaaaally want them. But Ive learned to breath and distract myself so I dont get hooked on them so I dont have withdrawls during pregnancy
