  • People who eat with their mouths open/slurp things/have bad table manners in general.

Didn't your mother teach you anything?

  • When people are late or blow off meetings. Drives me insane.

  • People being late drives me crazy, too.  Grrrr...
  • Gossip/drama... can't stand petty behavior.

  • People who don't know how to behave as an audience member.  The parents in our school are especially bad about that.  You should see all the performing arts teachers shooting them daggers when they're being rude at meetings and things.
  • People who con't used their blinkers when they turn or change lane.  Unfortunately there are a lot of people like that here.

  • Oh, I thought of one that falls even higher on my list...using your/you're incorrectly.  I do not like poor grammar or misspellings.

Any "casual" use of the "r-word" (r*tard, r*tarded, etc).  I will automatically lose any respect I had for the person who uses it.  I understand when an older person uses the term "mental retardation" as a reference to a diagnoses but I despise its use in casual conversation, especially as a synonym for "stupid."  "Short bus" jokes will get me going, too.
  • I think everybody said mine because I agree with all of them! As a teacher it bugs me when students don't write their name on their paper. How am I supposed to know who is deserving of this awesome grade??

<div>Me too! I'm an editor, so that particularly gets me going (as well as people who don't know there/their or to/too/two).</div>
  • These are good! I guess I'd have to choose a few... Bad grammar or spelling, as others have said (I'm a teacher, too). Lying (realllllly bugs me). When I ask my students why they did something/broke a rule and they either shrug or say "I don't know." Also, when people swear a lot.
  • These are all good ones!

I had teachers who would give automatic zeros to "no names," same as not turning it in at all.  Put a stop to those real quick.

I think one of my biggest is when people use their power/influence/money to look down at other people.  I have to remind myself that the Bible says that the last will be first and the first will be last.

I also really hate when girls pee on the toilet seat.  Sometimes I go into a public bathroom and want to scream, "If you aren't going to sit down, lift the seat up!  Or clean up after yourself!!"  At work we have seat protectors and people don't even use them.  It's so gross.

  • Didn't answer this yesterday, but I second the gossip/drama... there's A LOT where I work and its for that reason that I'm looking for a new job, out of all the places I have worked this is by far the worst, and there are no teens here, its all just adults acting like they are in highschool still!
  • Definitely grudge holding.
